Well, the Volvo Amazon HGVXC (XC121?) would look like this:
I’d get a different roofbox, but otherwise this looks very desirable. And Volvo produced a 4x4 at that time with the same engine, so it is possible to actually make one?

I don’t know, an Amazon-Laplander hybrid would be way too capable off-road for it to be a Crossover.

I think lower rideheight and longer overhangs will compromise the offroad-ability of the Amazon. That said, the Laplander has been mentioned to me as the best offroader ever (without tracks) a few times.

I hate roof boxes in general, so I’d remove it. I generally don’t like red vehicles... but this one I’d go red. Also prefer the blacked out handles. Different wheels than either example for me though.

I’d rather have a twin-carbed B20 with an M41 and Laplander drivetrain, just to keep it in the family.
